MUSEUM DOCENTS NEEDED — The Publishing Museum is looking for volunteers to assist as docents to greet visitors and share the history of the museum as well as St. Andrews. Become a Member of The Panama City Publishing Co. Museum Membership Program!

Membership dues support everything the Historic St. Andrews Waterfront Partnership does to carry out our mission to preserve the history of St. Andrews, engage the community, and revitalize our economy in St. Andrews. The History, the Publishing Museum, the Press On Print Shop, museum exhibits, educational programs and workshops, and community events — YOU make it all possible through your membership. Plus, there are some pretty cool member benefits. See for yourself.

Friends of The Publishing Museum is a monthly sustaining membership program. Supporting The Panama City Publishing Co. Museum through your membership enables you to:

  • help fund historic preservation in Historic St. Andrews
  • support educational outreach and workshops
  • fund educational supplies and discovery labs
  • provide support and special museum projects
  • sponsor exhibits and collections care

Membership Levels

All membership levels are important to historic preservation of the Museum and the St. Andrews community. All levels will receive a special car decal, “Proud Member of the Panama City Publishing Co. Museum” and are given advance purchase opportunities for our “passport” events, as well as advanced notice and invitations to upcoming events, exhibits and receptions. Each level includes additional benefits appropriate to that level. Family memberships are available for all levels at $10 over the listed price. We hope you will be as generous as your circumstances allow.

Reporter Level: $75 annually

  • 10% discount on Museum merchandise and Press on Print Shop orders
  • Membership Card
  • Car Decal

Editor Level: $150 annually

  • All of the above and 1 Historic St Andrews shopping tote

Publisher level: $250 annually

  • All of the above +
  • 1 St Andrews History book
  • Reduced rental for facilities

Pulitzer Prize level: $500 annually

  • All of the above +
  • 1 ticket to Jubilee Gala

George and Lillian West Society: $1000 annually

  • All of the above +
  • A personally autographed copy of “George Mortimer West, His Path in History”
  • Free rental of facilities up to three times
  • 2 tickets to Jubilee Gala
  • 10% discount on subsequent year’s membership

Lifetime Museum Member: $2500

  • All of the benefits listed above,
  • your name on a unique plaque to be presented at the Gala,
  • and your name on a plaque at the Museum recognizing Lifetime members.


There are many other ways to help support Historic St. Andrews and the Panama City Publishing Co. Museum.

One way is through a monetary gift to the Museum Gift Fund. The Gift Fund allows the Publishing Museum to further its mission through outreach and educational activities, improvements to the permanent exhibition, development of temporary exhibitions, and the purchase of preservation and letterpress printing supplies.

Every little bits helps! And we appreciate your generosity toward our efforts to preserve our local history and keep the art of letterpress alive for future generations to enjoy and appreciate.
Donate to the museum collection

If you have an artifact that matches the time frame and purpose of our collection, we would love to consider incorporating it into the collection at the Panama City Publishing Co. Museum. Please submit this donation offer form to museum@historicstandrews.com, along with a photograph of the piece you’d like to donate, and our Museum Operations and Procedures committee will determine whether your piece would fit into our collection.

Another way to make a difference at the Panama City Publishing Museum is to sponsor the restoration of an artifact at the Museum.

Finally, the Panama City Publishing Museum has an ever-changing wish list, with operations, preservation, and educational needs. Financial, artifact, and wish list items can be gifted as a tax deduction.
